Havaianas Celebrates the Word Cup
Havaianas, the world’s most stylish and comfortable flip-flop, is bringing soccer fever to New York City this summer. On June 11th, the world’s largest soccer tournament will start in South Africa. To commemorate this event, Havaianas has launched a collection of Limited Edition 2010 Team Sandals and has partnered with hip New York soccer bars to sponsor a series of screening events for fans to enjoy the games and give them a chance to win a pair of the limited edition flip flops.
Beginning on May 31st, New Yorkers will see wild postings featuring screening event details splashed across the city. The posters along with Havaianas Facebook, Twitter and www.us.havaianas.com will guide soccer fans to the selected bars and game times throughout the tournament. Coasters representing all of the Teams Collection will be distributed throughout participating bars. The Havaianas Volkswagon “Kombi” bus will be stationed outside each event gifting lucky finders of the “Golden Flip Flop Coaster” with a pair of Limited Edition 2010 Team Sandals.
